Drivers Window.

Hi all,

My window has stopped working ( drivers , electric ) but can still hear the motor , so i took the door card off and found a broken cable ( wire but not electrical ) and a rubber tube just hanging down, cable is frayed and snapped but couldnt release the motor to trace the cable,

is this an easy fix?

Just had a similar problem with the wife's Focus.

 

Parts not sold seperately and had to by the whole assembly, called the window regulator. Don't know if it's the same principal with the Galaxy but the part for the Focus was

easy fix do a search on here its been covered using brake cable off a pushbike
